I will attempt to modify recipes to include the ingredients widely available in the US but not so available in Egypt. Hopefully I will be able to help those who want to make their homemade favorites without sacrificing flavor and as I have found out - texture.
I will also add Egyptian recipes to this blog, as I have been taught from my Egyptian family.
Egyptian recipes as I have found out don't really have recipes just ingredients. Measurements are approximate, as are oven temperatures. So adjusting to this way of cooking and baking was a real learning experience.
